Burn. Burn damage occurs whenever a creature takes damage from heat sources, which is usually fire or hot objects like heated metal.
Caustic. Caustic damage applies whenever a creature takes damage from an acidic source, such as a pool of acid or having acidic bile spewed upon them.
Electric. A creature takes electric damage whenever they are exposed to a shocking or electrocuting effect, such as a Luxomancer’s Lightning Bolt or getting shocked by active wires.

Physical. Physical damage applies to all those attacks that pierce, slice, or crush a target; almost all weapons deal physical damage.
Poison. Poisons and venoms deal poison damage; despite the inherent difference between venom and poison, they have been simplified into one damage type. Poison damage is reduced by the result of a creature’s Fortitude save.
Psychic. Psychic damage applies when a creature takes damage from a psychic source, such as a Magician’s Elemental Strike. Psychic damage is reduced by the result of a creature’s Willpower save.
Rot. Rot damage occurs when a creature undergoes an effect or attack that drains its very life force; this is almost always from spells or enchanted items.
Sonic. Any damage caused by painfully loud or powerful sound deals sonic damage.
True. True damage is any damage that strikes at the very core, at the heart of a being. It is a powerful form of damage that cannot be blocked or reduced except under VERY special circumstances.
